Well I'd be doing my Canadian friends a great disservice if I neglected the Bloody Caesar, or simply, the Caesar. A variation of the traditional Bloody Mary, the Caesar cocktail calls for Clamato juice instead of tomato. I like to keep it simple and fresh. Here's how to make a bloody caesar cocktail:
As always, start with a full shaker or glass of ice. Add a dash of Tabasco sauce, worchestershire, and celery salt. Squeeze a wedge of fresh lemon, then rub the lemon along the rim of your glass and rub the rim in celery salt. Pour a few ounces of your favorite vodka, then fill with Clamato juice. Shake the Caesar cocktail thoroughly and pour into the celery salt-annointed glass. If you're really cool, you will have taken that glass from the freezer.
Garnish your bloody Caesar cocktail with a stalk of celery and the lemon wedge. Seriously, my mouth waters as I write this!
Hail Bloody Caesar
